She handled my dress with such care and made altered it to make it look like it was made for me. She also custom made my cathedral length french lace veil to match and it was stunning! Mia was excellent, and accommodating. I am EXTREMELY picky and she knew what was needed to make the fabric work. She even went to the store for me to get the fabric I wanted added as a hem. She knows couture gowns.

"A ton of research led me to Mia to fit my wedding dress. She had her work cut out--taking in three dress sizes and changing the hemline on embroidered crepe silk isn't easy. I knew I wanted the hem shortened, but she suggested a high-low hemline (which the designer of my gown was currently sending down the runway). I was impressed with such a thoughtful suggestion and it fit the gown really well. She clearly had a lot of knowledge on current fashion, which isn't typical of a seamstress. On our first fitting, I pointed out a tiny stain on one of the large embroidered flowers. Mia took one of the flowers from the shortened hem and replaced it. I can't find the replaced flower no matter how hard I look.
I have a degree in fashion design and I was so surprised with Mia’s attention to detail. She noticed tiny puckers in the fit that even I didn't notice. On my final fitting, there was one small modification she still wanted to do. She fixed it and dropped off my dress a few hours later--before she headed to the airport. I always felt like I was her only client and I felt so comfortable. If I was going to do it all over again, I would hire Mia again in a heartbeat."
